This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA-OFFICE OF THE COMMANDER (RN452).
What You'll Do
- →Performs work that involves planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, operation, maintenance.
- →Performs work that involves management of DoD communication/networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats.
- →Provides technical guidance and oversight to government and contracted teams with responsibilities of fault isolation, configuration control, mission assurance, performance, and security.
- →Assesses new communications systems requirements and capabilities, performance deficiencies, interoperability requirements.
- →Assesses new communications systems requirements identifies technology enhancements applicable to information transfer services being provided by the Enterprise Infrastructure.

- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level.
