What You'll Do
- →Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities across agency systems.
- →Manage and maintain antivirus, endpoint firewall, device control, and endpoint detection and response tools.
- →Conduct regular security reviews, assessments, and audits of production and development systems.
- →Document, escalate, and assist in the remediation of identified security incidents and risks.
- →Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current cybersecurity best practices, standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- →Support configuration, hardening, and maintenance of Linux operating systems and core infrastructure.
- →Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement secure solutions and improve security posture.
- →Prepare and deliver reports and recommendations to leadership on security operations and findings.
- →Provide technical guidance and training to staff on cybersecurity policies, procedures, and tools.
- →Participate in the development and enforcement of organizational cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- →This is a Non-Bargaining Unit Position.
- →This position is primarily aligned to the following NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework work roles: Cybersecurity Code 461- Systems Security Analyst: Responsible for the analysis and development of the integration, testing, operations, and maintenance of systems security.
