This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA JITC / JTA1.
What You'll Do
- →Oversees cyber test and evaluation and determine potential security risks.
- →Conducts penetration testing on enterprise networks and systems, evaluating effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture.
- →Duties-Analyze Test Results to identify systemic security issues, map potential adversarial action paths, and determine the operational risk of discovered vulnerabilities.
- →Perform technical and non-technical risk and vulnerability assessments of technology focus areas, preparing reports and presenting recommended remediation strategies.
- →Oversee installs, updates, and troubleshooting of operating systems, applications, and hardware on servers and workstations.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-14 grade level.
