This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA DKABCC-ITD31.
What You'll Do
- →Manages the development of policies and procedures for securing the enterprise systems infrastructure to prevent and defend against vulnerabilities and unauthorized access.
- →Performs the necessary systems integration research and validation work to ensure the good working order and cybersecurity compliance of new or upgraded mission and support staff automation applications.
- →Receives, interprets, schedules and accomplishes enterprise network and systems-related task orders and other data-calls from higher authorities.
- →Designs, procures, tests, and deploys cost-effective and mission-essential systems and services as defined by DISA management.
- →Leads the engineering and implementation of preferred and alternative interface accesses to and configuration of highly sophisticated physical and virtual IT systems.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level.
