This vacancy is for a Investigation & Compliance Specialist in the Bureau of Industry and Security Office of the Under Secretary, Office of Information and Communications Technology and Services (OICTS) within the Department of Commerce.
What You'll Do
- →As an Investigation and Compliance Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Evaluates mitigation adherence and effectiveness; performs compliance field work; audit compliance reviews; and determines suitability of national security agreements.
- →Analyze key policy questions using risk-based methodologies and contribute to significant agency decisions, policy recommendations, and positions.
- →Plan and manage major and continuing investigation/compliance case work which involves high-priority cases that are central to agency objectives.
- →Work closely with subject matter experts in information and communication technological areas, including network infrastructure, automation, connected software, and infrastructure/platform as a service.
- →Acts as agency authority and spokesperson to other government agencies and foreign counterparts.
- →This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other Investigation and Compliance Specialist, GS-1801-13, Full Performance Level (FPL) GS-13 positions within the Department of Commerce in the same geographical location with the same qualifications and specialized experience.
Requirements
