About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as Commissioning Specialist for highly complex and comprehensive design projects with collective program costs exceeding several hundred million dollars. Leads a Cx team of system experts as they validate and document the performance of components, assemblies, and systems.
What You'll Do
- →Leads commissioning teams in preparing and implementing commissioning plans and reports.
- →Serves as subject matter expert for commissioning, responsible for review of design and construction activities for multiple complex projects.
- →Reviews submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings primarily for vertical construction and provides comments and recommendations for improvements, approval, or disapproval.
- →Performs inspection of assemblies, and systems during construction.
- →Investigates and troubleshoots components, assemblies, and systems post occupancy.
- →Observes contractor personnel performing installation and testing of assemblies and systems.
- →Reports on the quality of installation and the conformance of the installation to specifications.
