About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DOD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is an Interdisciplinary Architect/Engineer GS-0808,0810,0830,0850-12 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District. This position is in Tinker AFB, OK. Management can fill the position in any series.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as Project Engineer, responsible for coordination and inspection of contract construction.
- →Studies plans and specifications to obtain a thorough knowledge of construction requirements and design criteria.
- →Recommends changes in design, specified use of materials or construction procedures.
- →Coordinates general construction operations with other elements of the Resident Office through discussions of scheduling and progress with supervisor and heads of other sections
