About the Position: Serves as a Senior Project Manager and/or a Major Program Coordinator, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of a large project or group of projects of considerable scope and complexity as measured by value and duration of the project/program, geographical dispersion, management demands, technical, intricacies, and intergovernmental issues.
What You'll Do
- →Coordinate the activities of multiple Project Delivery Teams engaged in Life Cycle Project Management of individual projects to ensure program objectives are met.
- →Control and manage project budgets and schedules from a programmatic standpoint, assuring that District commitments to customers are met.
- →Attend meetings with appropriate agency officials, designers, contractors, and representatives of using services to discuss and resolve problems that may arise.
- →Negotiate and prepare contract documentation for new task orders and modifications for construction, design-build and Architect-Engineer services.
- →Review reasonableness of cost, conformance with criteria, and compliance with policies and procedures.
- →Resolve conflicting interests and opinions between the District, customer, proponent, and host national officials or their consultants.
- →Ensure implementation of Programs Management policy according to ER 5-1-11 for assigned programs.
