You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY COMPUTER SCIENTIST/ GENERAL ENGINEER in the SYSTEMS INTEGRATION AND SUSTAINMENT BRANCH, SPECIAL COMMUNICATIONS MISSION SOLUTIONS (SCMS) DIVISION, RAPID CAPABILITY SOLUTIONS DEPARTMENT, RAPID CAPABILITY ENGINEERING GROUP of NAWCAD WEBSTER OUTLYING FIELD.
What You'll Do
- →You will plan work and prepares performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
- →You will identify developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training You will make appropriate distinctions in levels of performance while equitably applying performance standards.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following basic education requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: 0801 Series Successful completion of a professional engineering degree.
- ✓Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
- ✓OR Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.

- ✓OR Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in engineering that included the courses specified in the basic requirements under paragraph A (above).
- ✓At least 15 of my 30 semester hours were in a combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus.
