About the Role
You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY PHYSICIST/ OCEANOGRAPHER/ MATHEMATICIAN in the Ocean Projects Department (N9) of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.
What You'll Do
- →You will have knowledge of advanced concepts, theories, and principles of acoustic and ancillary data analysis.
- →You will have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and and in writing.
- →You will have the ability to serve as the senior physicist/oceanographer/mathematician during field operations.
- →You will have the ability to work in Microsoft Office.
Requirements
- ✓In either A or B above, the courses must have included a fundamental course in general physics and, in addition, courses in any two of the following: electricity and magnetism, heat, light, mechanics, modern physics, and sound. ***A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
- ✓The total course work in either A or B above must have included differential and integral calculus and, in addition, four advanced mathematics courses requiring calculus or equivalent mathematics courses as a prerequisite. ***A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
