The Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer is a senior technical leader and the principal testing authority within the Direct Reporting Portfolio Manager for Unmanned Systems (DRPM-UxS) Office.

- →Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following: Applies rigorous engineering and computational quality control, providing direct technical oversight of the unmanned systems testing enterprise.
- →Establishes and enforces development standards, safety protocols, and cyber-resiliency requirements to guarantee all systems meet high combat reliability standards for critical acquisition priorities.
- →Leads the modernization and strategic alignment of Department-wide testing ranges and Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) simulation environments.
- →Advises senior Department of War leadership on testing outcomes, algorithmic limitations, and operational safety risks.
- →Synthesizes complex test data and safety assessments into clear, actionable fielding recommendations, effectively bridging communication between technical experts and senior decision-makers to support critical programmatic and fielding decisions.
