About the Role
Position is located in the Lewis & Clark National Historic Park in Astoria, OR Serve as principal advisor in the management of cultural resources; performing a variety of professional cultural resource management tasks and is responsible for independently planning/carrying out professional/technical assignments, adapting guidelines for application to specific cultural resource management issues, analyzing the results and recommending changes to existing cultural resource procedures/methods.
What You'll Do
- →Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Manages the cultural resource program, coordinating with partners, overseeing research requests, resource monitoring, and museum, archival, and library collections.
- →Works closely with the park resources division manager to complete cultural resources compliance tasks.
- →Develops effective cultural resources management planning documents and strategies.
- →Manages the museum, archival, and library collections to NPS standards and guidelines, and coordinates documentation, preservation, protection, exhibition, and use of those collections.
Requirements

- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
