About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), G-3, Army Crypto Office, Fort Meade, MD.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as a member of signals intelligence (SIGINT) oversight staff for all Army Cryptologic activities worldwide.
- →Researches, reviews, interprets, and applies analysis to applicable laws, directives, regulations, policies, and guidance governing SIGINT activities, providing assessments to ensure leaders have necessary information to execute SIGINT missions.
- →Reviews the SIGINT policies and programs of all Army Cryptologic activities to ensure compliance with applicable authorities and policies and to ensure development, adoption, and implementation of new/current SIGINT policies and practices.
- →Advises, assists, and sometimes represents the Branch Chief and INSCOM IG in all Inspector General functions/duties with particular emphasis on Intelligence Oversight responsibilities.
- →Conducts Intelligence Oversight formal training courses and prepares awareness publications for INSCOM HQ personnel as well as MSC/SRA commanders.
