About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), Assistant Chief of Staff (ACOFS), G-3, Force Readiness Division; Readiness Branch, Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the Intelligence Planner for the Assistant Chief of Staff G3, Plans, U.S.
- →Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).
- →Analyzes organizational intelligence requirements to identify priorities affecting current and future mission objectives.
- →Coordinates intelligence strategies and courses of action to address operational requirements and emerging mission needs.
- →Integrates intelligence considerations into the Military Decision-Making Process in support of operational forces.
- →Assesses intelligence capabilities and functional requirements affecting training, deployment, employment, or sustainment of operational forces.
- →Reviews changes to intelligence policy, doctrine, regulations, and directives to determine their impact on organizational intelligence activities.
- →Resolves non-routine intelligence issues through application of governing intelligence authorities and established guidance.
- →Advises leadership on intelligence issues requiring organizational action or decision.
- →Represents organizational intelligence positions during planning teams, working groups, or other professional forums.
