About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W4JLAA STRATEGIC SYSTEMS SUPPORT ELEMENT.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as an all-source intelligence analyst in the Directorate of Intelligence (G2) responsible for applying detailed knowledge of all source intelligence in support of operations.
- →Prepare and conduct frequent in-depth formal and informal intelligence briefings of intelligence assessments to the G2, commander, staff, higher headquarters, deployed US forces and other audiences including national level intelligence agencies.
- →Utilize state of the art intelligence research tools, automated information systems and analytic tradecraft to conduct all-source analysis.
- →Coordinate and collaborate with counterparts in partner Agencies and organizations to synchronize efforts and analysis.
- →Represent the command in applicable intelligence exchanges or international forums, furnishing information, defending agency positions, and coordinating studies and conclusions.
