About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the US ARMY SPACE & MSL CMD, ARSTRAT DEPUTY CHIEF OF STAFF, G-2 OPERATIONS & PLANS DIVISION, ADVANCED GEOSPATIAL INTEL NODE, PETERSON AFB, CO.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as a developmental Intelligence Specialist (Operations) specializing in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) exploitation.
- →Participates in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) exploitation for analysis in a given area of interest.
- →Participates in intelligence production, to include retrieval and processing data, preparing graphics, performing analysis, and drafting reports.
- →Performs geo-spatial analysis using Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) applications.
- →Assists other analysts in the processing and exploitation of all types of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) data.
- →Participates in the field of operational GEOINT processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED).
