About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W1U301 US ARMY INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY CMD. This position is located at MICECP with a duty location of Honolulu, Hawaii.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, coordinates, and executes intelligence collection assignments.
- →Solves complex collection problems and requests for information by interpreting regulations as well as developing policies for alternative solutions to unusual circumstances not covered by standard requirements Evaluates operational strategies and exercises authority to recommend and develop changes to operational procedures and priorities.
- →Develops and implements methods to ensure optimal HUMINT program effectiveness.
- →Serves as an authoritative source of information and expertise as a HUMINT Intelligence Collector.
- →Remain abreast of current events; foreign, defense, and any policy, military and national security issues which have an impact on targets and regions of interest coordinate with all applicable government agencies in support of all assigned collection operations.
