About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Joint Interagency Task Force South Intelligence & Security Directorate, U.S. Southern Command in Curacao, Netherlands.
What You'll Do
- →Guides, directs, and conducts intelligence analysis and production concerning narcoterrorist organizations and their operational methods, capabilities, and vulnerabilities.
- →Plans, guides, and carries out all assignments needed to collect, evaluate, develop, and maintain databases required to prepare analyses, reports/projections, and briefings for assigned area.
- →Identifies intelligence gaps, specifies collection requirements to fill gaps in information, evaluates resulting intelligence, develops analytical tools and methodologies.
- →Explains team goals and objectives to assigned team members and assisting team inorganizing so as to accomplish the mission.
- →Participates in interagency and international conferences and meetings concerning assigned area and targeted activities.
