About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located with the Intelligence & Security Directorate, J2. What You'll Do
- →Serve as the Analysis and Production Division's (J22) Subject Matter Expert (SME) on illicit trafficking networks and methodologies.
- →Conduct in-depth, all-source intelligence analysis to produce actionable intelligence and long-term strategic assessments.
- →Lead complex analytical projects on emerging threats or targets and guide team members in a collaborative capacity.
- →Synthesize intelligence from national, tactical, and allied partner sources, including SIGINT, HUMINT, OSINT, and law enforcement data, to identify key vulnerabilities, patterns, and trends within illicit trafficking activities.
- →Represent the Command at meetings which include a wide variety of internal and external partners.
- →Develop and deliver tailored intelligence briefings to diverse audiences and articulate expert assessments and recommendations.
- →Research and integrate new analytical techniques and technologies to improve the quality and timeliness of intelligence production.
