The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Threat Analyst providing general analytic support to intelligence and intelligence-related programs and systems. Supports effective research, development, simulation, testing, fielding, employment, sustainment, and improvement of AF capabilities by identifying engineering requirements, resolving/mitigating deficiencies, and integrating intelligence.
What You'll Do
- →Duties: Defines the foreign threat environment used to make informed DoD/USAF decisions.
- →Analyzes and interprets data and makes recommendations on broad-based and domain/discipline-agnostic intelligence products, applications, capabilities, and resources within assigned/defined geographical or functional areas of responsibility.
- →Conducts complex analysis of multi-source intelligence.
- →Evaluates both classified and unclassified information to understand adversary strengths, weaknesses, and centers of gravity.
- →Conducts complex research, evaluates, analyzes and fuses multi- source information from all intelligence disciplines to satisfy a broad range of tailored customer requirements and technical meetings.
- →Leads and participates in intelligence analysis working groups as assigned by the Flight Chief.
- →Interacts with intelligence and acquisition working groups in a variety of ways including chairing and participating in Integrated Product Teams, Threat Steering/Working Groups, Service Level Assumption Working Groups, Science and Technical Intelligence Committee meetings, All Military Equipment Planning Meetings, and other forums as appropriate.
- →Attends meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars related to program planning, adversary capabilities, and support system concepts.
- →Represents the organization during visits with government and industry representatives.
