About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at ARCENT, Kuwait Command Group in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
What You'll Do
- →Employs advanced statistical models, qualitative and quantitative regression analysis, structured analytic techniques, and long-range forecasting methodologies to produce highly accurate projections of adversary capabilities.
- →Support theater elements to produce comprehensive all-source intelligence products, strategic threat assessments, and special intelligence studies.
- →Must articulate clear, persuasive arguments under conditions of incomplete data or competing policy interests, often persuading senior decision-makers to accept positions that carry significant operational, resource, or diplomatic consequences.
- →Applies seasoned judgment to interpret and adapt vague or insufficient guidelines to situations where motivations and implications are not immediately apparent.
- →Conducts recurring audits and compliance reviews of intelligence sharing activities, identifying deficiencies and implementing corrective actions.
- →Coordinates and actively participates in the development, drafting, negotiation, and implementation of new, secure intelligence-sharing architectures, bilateral exchange agreements, and memoranda of agreement with foreign partners.
- →Plans, prepares, and coordinates intelligence briefings provided to senior foreign military and civilian officials, swiftly resolving any pertinent foreign disclosure, policy, or exchange issues.
