The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Lead Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) and Target Intelligence. Additionally serves as the Command's Senior Geospatial Information & Services (GI&S) Officer, the Command Geospatial Production Requirements Manager, and as command headquarters staff advisor for Measurement and Signatures Intelligence (MASINT).
What You'll Do
- →- Develops, directs and performs full range of Intelligence analysis and evaluation on Geospatial and Targets Intelligence issues.
- →Utilizes knowledge and experience of GEOINT - imagery, imagery intelligence (IMINT), and geospatial information (GI) - targets intelligence and MASINT to plan, organize and equip MAJCOM intelligence activities. - Functions as the expert MAJCOM GEOINT and Target Intelligence planning representative for HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA.
- →Utilizes geospatial information systems (GIS) applications to evaluate NGA and Combatant Command geospatial production databases and to develop, manage, maintain, and submit HQ USAFE-AF AFRICA geospatial product/area requirements. - Represents HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA GEOINT and Target Intelligence interests to a variety of installation, Combatant Command, Service and National-level forums.
- →Utilizes expert knowledge of, and experience with, GEOINT, Targets Intelligence and MASINT when representing HQ USAFE-AF AFRICA/ A2 needs at top-level review committees, National and Defense Intelligence Agencies, Air Force and Joint Service working groups, private contractors, and a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

- ✓ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS.
- ✓This position is in the Excepted Service.
