This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: You will oversee the end-to-end procurement of IT hardware, software, and technical services. You will leverage your expertise in acquisition procedures to execute critical purchases while ensuring all transaction and compliance documentation is thoroughly managed and archived.
What You'll Do
- →Develop complete procurement packages to acquire necessary IT resources effectively.
- →Evaluate acquisition packages and performance agreements: including SOWs, PWSs, SLAs, cost estimates, and technical specifications to ensure regulatory compliance and mission alignment.
- →Implement enterprise IT governance and strategic planning frameworks: including policies, resource plans, and roadmaps to align technology investments with mission objectives and regulatory standards.
- →Verify independent receipts and services to confirm the establishment of a legitimate government need.
- →Ensure correct use of funds as prescribed by federal fiscal laws and regulations.
- →Utilize all authorized sources to fulfill IT hardware and software purchase requirements.
- →Reconcile monthly financial statements to resolve discrepancies with the contracting officer.
- →Maintain physical security of contractual documents to prevent loss, theft, or compromise.
- →Preserve electronic records for all IT procurements to support the entire acquisition lifecycle.
- →Create briefings and reports to inform leadership and staff on procurement activities.
