About the Position: This position is located at the 72nd Medical Group, Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Maintain systems as a Senior Systems Administrator, installing software and hardware for operating systems to ensure successful day-to-day operations.
- →Develop corrective action to resolve operational problems of complex systems, hardware, or software issues.
- →Manage installation of upgrades, backups, and patches.
- →Provide comprehensive, technical guidance and instruction to users and other IT Specialists.
- →Collaborate on committees to develop plans for system environment enhancements, acquisition requirements, and conduct cost benefit analyses and feasibility studies.
- →Maintain the cybersecurity posture, accreditation, and daily security operations of a program, organization, or enclave.
