About the Role
The Information Technology Specialist assists Army Lodging in improving business processes through analysis and improvement of of various IT systems.
What You'll Do
- →DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the lead of a full performance specialist, performs highly structured, entry-level work designed to develop broader and more in-depthknowledge and skill needed to perform higher-level assignments.
- →Gathers and analyzes basic facts and draws conclusions.
- →Applies systemsanalysis concepts and techniques sufficient to assist in studies to identify potential improvements in the way Information Technology (IT) is appliedto key business processes.
- →Performs assignments in the identification and resolution of issues and problems.
- →Applies a structured systems analysisapproach to the design and development of basic IT systems specifications.
- →Assists in the development of requirements and specifications for ITsystems that meet business needs.
- →Prepares and communicates factual and procedural information clearly, orally, and in writing.
- →Applies informationsecurity and information assurance policy, principles, and practices.
Requirements
- ✓High School graduate or equivalent.
- ✓All candidates (to include current employees) are required to include transcripts with their application package.
- ✓Failure to do so may result in an ineligible rating.
- ✓Only education from accredited and pre-accredited institutions will be accepted.
- ✓Foreign education must be evaluated for equivalency in the United States.
