You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN) ofPEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. What You'll Do
- →You will write and maintain computer operator instructions program maintenance manuals or other similar documentation.
- →You will validate documentation with other personnel and make modifications as needed.
- →You will prepare procedures, instructions and documentation for use by other departmental personnel.
- →You will serve on a project team responsible for system implementation and upgrades.
- →You will provide systems administration methods and procedures; and performance monitoring methods to schedule, monitor, and verify the integrity of system backups and restore files as necessary.
- →You will provide Information Technology concepts, principles, methods and practices and a wide range of IT techniques, requirements, and procedures to analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations on projects.
Requirements
- ✓Additional information: Position designated as critical-sensitive required a favorable Single Scope Background Investigation and IT-I designation.
- ✓Position requires Top Secret clearance eligibility only.
- ✓This position may require occasional travel.
- ✓This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code System Administrator), proficiency level 451 Intermediate the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- ✓The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions.
- ✓This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze.

- ✓Commute area is defined as the geographic area surrounding the duty location in which people can reasonably be expected to travel back and forth daily.
