This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The IT Specialist (Policy and Planning), GS-2210-13, serves as a Cyberspace Operations Planner, Cyberspace Operations Division (CyOD / J311) in the J3 Operations Directorate, Headquarters United States European Command.
What You'll Do
- →Analyze and execute functional efforts for manning, training, equipping, and facilities of European Command DOD Information Network (EUCOM DODIN) and Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) Internal Network Defense (IDM) capabilities.
- →Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and conduct Cyberspace operations staffing functions across the European Command (EUCOM) staff in accordance with guidance received from the Commander and Director J3.
- →Influence current and emerging Cyberspace operational and intelligence doctrine, policy, capabilities, tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP).
- →Provide technical expertise on Cyberspace Operations program issues and policies to the Cyberspace Operations Division and other external organizations as directed/requested.
