You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) in the Helicopter Sea Combat Wing, at Naval Air Station, North Island, San Diego, CA.
What You'll Do
- →You will plan, coordinate, and implement information system security, including security measures for all computers, electronic storage devices, and communication systems.
- →You will serve as manager and technical advisor on all areas of information system security.
- →You will recommend courses of action and policies to senior management to securely meet organizational goals.
- →You will oversee the certification and accreditation of all information systems and facilities.
- →You will ensure information security programs are implemented through development and promulgation of notices, policies, procedures, training, and awareness programs.
- →You will develop risk mitigation programs, action plans and budgets to address risks identified during assessments and audits.
- →You will develop and maintain strategic plans, develop local policy and guidance to govern IT activities.
- →You will serve as the Systems Administration by managing classified and unclassified accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
