About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Camp Humphreys in Pyeong Taek, Korea . This is a position with an initial overseas tour of 36 months with possible extensions for a total of 5 years.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as Senior Technician and Technical Expert responsible for planning, managing and coordinating configuration management, Local Area Network projects and Wide Area Network projects in the Republic of Korea.
- →Responsible for the on-going analysis of all data communications equipment and networking systems to ensure that maximum capability is being achieved at minimum cost.
- →Works with functional managers to evaluate the impact of proposed standards and procedures on the accomplishment of activity goals and objectives.
- →Provides technical expertise for network management support for Non-classified Internet Protocol Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network and classified Secret Internet Protocol Router Network networks.
