About the Position: Information Technology Specialist (Network), GS-2210-12, position in the Directorate of Engineering & Cyber at Tobyhanna Army Depot. This position will be filled using the Direct Hiring Authority (DHA) for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in Department of Defense (DoD).
What You'll Do
- →Perform a variety of complex software engineering, network engineering, integration, implementation and support tasks for computer systems administration, network and information management.
- →Ensure system availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency while resolving hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.
- →Serve as a system tester with knowledge of network principles and diagnostic techniques to test, install, configure, integrate and maintain systems.
- →Contribute and work in researching, developing and engineering solutions to satellite communications requirements to meet mission goals while ensuring Department of Defense and Army compliancy guidelines.
