This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Provides the full scope of Information Technology Security (INFOSEC) to the installation, organizations, and management.
What You'll Do
- →Develops policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
- →Manages Information Assurance (IA) plans for the installation.
- →Evaluates and recommends the adoption of new information technology security methods that will enhance capabilities.
- →Oversees the execution of the IA training and awareness program.
- →Reviews the status of all information security and/or networks to ensure no security relevant changes have been made which would invalidate the accreditation.
- →Reviews threat and vulnerability assessments to analyze the risk to information technology and networks, and determines appropriate measures to effectively manage those risks.
