About the Position: This position is located at Army Medical Center Darnall, Director of Resource Management, Information Management at Fort Hood, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Disseminate Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) to System Administrators, Network Administrators, Customer Support and Information Management Division to ensure the vulnerabilities for systems are being received and acknowledged.
- →Serve as a key member of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) team with responsibility for providing network design diagrams, network infrastructure architectural documents, Virtual Private Network (VPN) audit log file histories and other documents.
- →Monitor operation of the network and ensures hardware and software are functioning properly and security operational standards are met.
- →Perform monitoring and scanning of network resources, utilizing approved Defense Health Agency intrusion prevention, scanning and security tools such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), to ensure the network is being used appropriately.
- →Review and approve all network security requests for feasibility and connectivity.
- →Review threat and vulnerability assessments and recommends cost-effective countermeasures and implements security measures.
