What You'll Do

  • If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing technical and analytical assistance which support the information management needs of the United States Attorney's Office, many of who may be located in geographically distant branch offices.
  • Typical work assignments will include: Maintaining network architecture and infrastructure.
  • Schedule, setup, manage video teleconferences (VTC) and virtual meetings using platforms such as Microsoft Teams, WebEx and PolyCom.
  • Resolving hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.
  • Coordinates logistics, including but not limited to, invites, room preparation, hosting, presentation support.
  • Implementing policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability.
  • Monitoring functionality, security, and integrity of internet services.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining litigation support equipment.
  • Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining customer hardware and software.
  • Work closely with end users, both internal and external, to understand VTC requirements and provide technical support before, during and after meetings.
  • Train and assist users on VTC platforms and meeting features.
  • Responsible for set up for all press conferences, including creating meeting link, room staging and working with press for sound check.
  • Making weekly visits to the branch offices Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.

Requirements

  • All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S.
  • Department of Education.
