What You'll Do
- →The Antitrust Division is seeking to fill an Information Technology Specialist (eDiscovery) position in the Litigation Support Section.
- →As an Information Technology Specialist (eDiscovery) you will: Interpret complex technical requirements into practical terms for Electronically Stored Information (ESI) processing, coding layout design, and implementation.
- →Serve as a technical and eDiscovery resource for both legal and litigation support staffs in eDiscovery negotiation calls/meetings with outside parties, vendors, and other Government agencies, offering consulting services, and troubleshooting ESI productions to and from ATR, including On-Us Discovery.
- →Serve as a resource in the areas of deduplication, use of search terms, Technology Assisted Review (TAR), Early Case Assessment (ECA), and evaluation of discovery burden claims.
- →Understand TAR negotiations -- reviewing proposals for potential issues, providing technical advice to legal staff to evaluate the merits of the proposals.
- →Review and evaluate different litigation support techniques that can be adapted to the ATR environment.
- →Research, develop, evaluate, test, administer, document, train, and troubleshoot new litigation support tools.
- →Write and review ESI documentation and data extraction guidelines.
