This position is part of the Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence, Department of Energy. As a Information Technology Specialist, you will support the Department of Energy Counterintelligence (CI) mission, you will provide Information Technology (IT) expertise to DOE CI mission activities, including investigations, awareness, analysis, insider threat, cyber forensics, and more benefitting DOE elements at headquarters, field offices, and the national laboratories.

- →As a full performance GS-14, Information Technology Specialist, you will: Serve as a recognized information technology expert in network administration who advises the executive level leadership and top management officials in the areas of system security and enterprise architecture alignment, and structured programming and analysis needed to meet user issues and requirements.
- →Maintain an awareness of the interpersonal climates of the organization, DOE-IN HQ IT, and other parts of the DOE IN mission as it supports the greater DOE with the mission of cybersecurity and security risk mitigation.
- →Provide technical expertise to carry out a variety of tasks involved in systems analysis, systems administration, network architectures, policy and planning, Internet capabilities, identifying and prioritizing critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.
- →Serve as leader of the network operations ensuring the overall health, functionality, and security of the organization's IT systems, managing various operational, technical and strategic tasks.
