This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoW Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Incumbent serves as the Information Technology Specialist (Customer Support), responsible for coordinating day-to-day work unit operations and executing technical system configuration requirements, resolving end-user inquiries and maintain operational readiness.
What You'll Do
- →Deliver end-to-end support to organizational users in need of assistance with Information Technology (IT) automation systems.
- →Maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of standard organizational IT products and services.
- →Instruct diverse organization end-users on standard guidance and procedures for utilizing unit software products.
- →Identify the appropriate technical reference sources needed to resolve complex customer support inquiries.
- →Manage unit information and their supporting management systems.
- →Plan day-to-day technical workflows to meet established delivery deadlines for assigned IT assignments.
- →Establish short-term performance objectives to successfully meet defined technical unit milestones.
- →Collaborate across various internal work units to achieve operational goals.
- →Develop strategic plans for the utilization of organizational resources to meet organizational mission goals.
- →Manage the organization's systems configuration requirements.
