About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is with the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, Mission Support Command, Associate Chief of Staff, G-6 located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as the senior technical authority for USAINSCOM enterprise architecture, leading the definition, design, and maintenance of the command's enterprise-wide view of business information and data.
- →Direct the development of a unified enterprise data model, designing ontological solutions to rationalize and integrate disparate data domains from homegrown, third-party, and COTS applications.
- →Resolve highly complex data architecture challenges, including metadata synchronization, identity management, and multi-level data access, ensuring the structural integrity and security of enterprise data.
- →Utilize negotiation skills to influence high-level stakeholders across DoD, federal agencies, and industry, gaining cooperation and encouraging the adoption of new information technologies and data-sharing strategies.
- →Lead the Information Architecture Program, independently planning and executing major projects by researching and applying emerging industry trends to develop new internal policies, standards, and methodologies.
