This position is located in the Department of Justice, Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys (EOUSA), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Enterprise Operations, Platforms, and Solutions Staff (EOPS). The OCIO advises agency clients on national issues regarding the design, modernization, use, sharing, and performance of information resources of the United States Attorneys' offices (USAOs) and EOUSA.
What You'll Do
- →This Information Technology Cybersecurity Specialist serves as the principal contacts for the coordination, implementation, and/or enforcement of information security policies.
- →If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing Information Technology Cybersecurity Specialist support in the U.S.
- →Attorney's Office, Executive Office for United States Attorneys, located in Columbia, South Carolina; Washington, District of Columbia, focusing in the areas of Information Systems Security; IT Project Management; and Cybersecurity Policy and Planning.
- →Typical work assignments will include: Managing information technology projects related to information security of EOPS programs to develop, manage, and oversee execution of cybersecurity compliance, ATT/ATO process, and routine assessments for unique IT services or products.
- →Providing cybersecurity oversight to project contract staff, issuing guidance and direction on cybersecurity compliance for project execution.
- →Conducting on-site and remote analyses of information systems standard security products and associated systems.
- →Assisting in providing strategic vision and ensures the implementation and maintenance of security controls in accordance with the Security Plan (SP) and Department of Justice (DOJ) policies Providing information security policy and planning within parameters of component-wide guidance and directives, performing IT planning and policy activities focusing on USAO needs and requirements.
- →Participating in implementation of systems security policies, guidelines and procedures related to web-based applications, network, and systems designs.
