About the Position: The incumbent performs duties encompassing all phases of the industrial hygiene program. Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. Some flexibility may be required for special assessments, emergency responses, or training sessions. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Independently plan, conduct, and administer inspections, surveys, and evaluations as part of a comprehensive industrial hygiene program for multiple military activities.
- →Conduct periodic surveys of working conditions to determine the nature and magnitude of hazardous exposure and the effectiveness of existing control measures.
- →Provide consultation and advice to various activities on occupational health problems.
- →Conduct surveys and studies to determine the need for medical surveillance for employees who are routinely exposed to toxic materials, noise, or other physical hazards.
- →Consult with the Industrial Hygiene Service Chief on surveys and studies performed to determine the control measures needed.
