About the Role
This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Human Resources Division (HRD), Diversion Staffing Unit (HRAD). This position(s) primary purpose is to provide specialized strategic and tactical services to recruit positions across the Agency and integrate efforts to develop and execute recruitment and retention incentives and strategies.
What You'll Do
- →As a Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment and Placement), your typical work assignments may include: Develops a recruitment plan to ensure that an adequate base of well-qualified and properly skilled applicants from a variety of sources is available to meet management's needs.
- →Provides interpretation and instruction on laws, regulations, policies, and procedures concerning all phases of hiring, merit promotion, priority placement, RIF and RIF avoidance program features, and procedures and related legal, regulatory. and contractual requirements or entitlements.
- →Performs internal reviews with teams of specialists, collaborating with other HR functional specialists in Classification, Benefits, Security or Systems.
- →Provides advisory services, general administrative support, program management, and staffing assistance to both management and employees.
