The primary purpose of the GS-09 position is: This is a developmental position with known promotion potential to the target position of GS-0201-11, Standard Core Personnel Document 6VR17535. Incumbent works closely with supervisor in performing duties of full performance of the core personnel document.
What You'll Do
- →Summary Continued The primary purpose of the GS-11 position is: To serve as ARPC's senior technical advisor on military Guard and Reserve service dates and pay computations and life-cycle management programs.
- →Plans, directs, organizes, manages and exercises supervisory controls over subordinate employees assigned to the Reserve Service Programs Management Branch.
- →DUTIES Provides senior technical and expert advice and guidance on Air Force Reserves and Guard (ARG) Reserve Service Management (RSM) programs and systems.
- →Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Reserve Service Programs Branch ensuring that the various life-cycle service dates and record authenticity comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Represents the Reserve Service Programs Branch with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- →Responds to Air Force, DoD, Congressional and other high level inquiries Responsible for researching, analyzing, evaluating and determining appropriate status and proper assignment within IRR/Standby reserve.
