About the Role
This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for managing key workforce development initiatives, including Supervisor Training, Mentoring, Coaching, and Detail Programs.
What You'll Do
- →As a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT) at the GS-0201-12/13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Develops program materials, guidance, and communications for virtual, in-person, and hybrid execution.
- →Conducts needs assessments and capability gap analyses to align development programs with organizational priorities.
- →Advises leadership on workforce and organizational development, providing data-driven recommendations and strategic briefings.
- →Oversees training contracts and vendor management, coordinating with procurement offices for external services.
- →Directs the operational delivery, scheduling, logistics, and participant tracking for all training programs.
- →Manages program budgets, forecasts resource needs, and ensures compliance with fiscal policies Conducts qualitative and quantitative analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of workforce development programs and identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- →Interprets evolving or ambiguous federal, DoW, or agency guidance and applies requirements to workforce development programs and processes.
Requirements
- ✓Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
