About the Role

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Human Resources Management (HRM), Mission Support Division, located in either Minneapolis, MN, Indianapolis, IN or Washington, DC. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

What You'll Do

  • As a Human Resources Specialist, you will provide oversight and analysis on a variety of programs and policies related to Human Capital.
  • This includes providing analysis and recommendations for improvement of staffing, classification, organization structure, data and trend analysis, non-disciplinary removals, performance management, workplace safety, awards processing, and benefits.
  • This position starts at a salary of $89,508.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $138,370.00 (GS-13, Step 10.

Requirements
