What You'll Do
- →In this position you will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (Staffing/Applicant Care) providing day-to-day support to higher level Human Resources Specialists in recruitment and placement activities for nationwide agency vacancies, answering applicant inquiries, and assisting with reviewing applications.
- →This position starts at a salary of $49,505.00 (GS-06, Step 1) to $71,517.00 (GS-07, Step 10) GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area.

- →Typical Duties include: Accessing personnel records to provide information on the status of applications and resolving inquiries requested by the caller (applicant, agency representative, and supervisor).
- →Making accurate determinations on applicant qualifications and eligibilities consistent with the appropriate position vacancy and hiring authorities.
- →Applying a wide range of human resources concepts, laws, policies, and regulation to address and resolve human resources issues.
- →Utilizing a personal computer and a variety of office software programs (MS Suite, USA Staffing, Salesforce, Information Security Management System, and SharePoint) to review, enter data, complete forms, correct errors or omissions as well as to extract, revise/sort information in HR documents, files, records and databases.
