What You'll Do
- →As a Human Resources Assistant (Processing Unit), at the full performance level you will perform the following duties: Processes Personnel Actions in the ICE Electronic System for Personnel.
- →Processes payroll actions, such as Federal and States taxes, retention pay, direct deposit.
- →Assists with onboarding processing benefit documents, Federal Employee's Group Life Insurance (FEGLI), Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB), Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), and beneficiary forms; certifies and reviews, benefits forms for proper coding, signatures, and effective dates.
- →Generates and distributes reports on ICE rosters, runs biweekly and various other reports.
- →Responds to customer issues relating to Personnel processing, reviews customer requests and inquiries and issues appropriate guidance, assesses customer needs, analyzes issues, and provides appropriate solutions through knowledge application of human resources systems and functional areas.
- →Uploads forms and documents to employees' electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF).
