About the Role
About the Position: The U.S. Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) is a joint Department of Defense command responsible for processing applicants into five branches of military service (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard). The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative assistance with transportation arrangements for military enlistees.
What You'll Do
- →Greet and account for visitors/applicants in and out of the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS); providing identification tags.
- →Fingerprint applicants using automated system(s).
- →Question applicants to obtain and/or verify complete data required for final data processing of forms and records for entry into the military service.
- →Perform record management of electronic and paper applicant records.
- →Cross-train to assist other sections/departments in the organization, when required.
