What You'll Do
- →The primary purpose of this position is: to assist the Chief, Customer Support in administering all aspects of the section.
- →This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position.
- →DUTIES: Assists the section chief program manager in administration of the Customer Support Programs.
- →Develops and administers a viable Individualized Newcomer Treatment and Orientation (INTRO) program and publishes welcome packages for new unit members to include applicable information with regards to the Active Guard Reserve (AGR) program.
- →Responsible for various special Customer Support programs such as Memorialization program and Casualty Services program.
- →Also responsible for the wing INTRO program and family care responsibilities.
- →Administers actions in Automated Reserve Orders Writing System-Reserves (AROWS-R).
- →Assists in advising commander and staff on various Customer Support programs.
- →Ensures accuracy of Personnel Data System (PDS) and performs functional review of data reliability.
- →Responsible for input of data pertaining to customer support programs.
- →Provides training to ARTs, AGRs, traditional reservists, civilian employees, etc.
- →Conducts in-house, classroom, and on-the-job training on applicable elements of the program.
- →May be required to perform Installation Personnel Readiness duties and/or assist as directed.
- →Receives monitors and controls contingency, OPLAN exercises or rotational TDY requirements levied by base or higher headquarters and provide necessary documents to unit commander for use in selection of personnel.
