About the Role
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MIL/OA) in the Installation Personnel Administration Center (IPAC) of RECRUIT TRAINING REGIMENT.
What You'll Do
- →You will manage all administrative processes, office operations, and standard office automated equipment.
- →You will process military personnel actions using military personnel systems.
- →You will communicate skills to liaise with local commands and higher headquarters.
- →You will provide timely assistance, technical information, and administrative support to the Marines, Sailors, and civilian personnel assigned to the Depot.
- →You will prepare and review unit diaries timely and accurately; reconcile Unit Diary Feedback Reports; conduct audits of service records; generate, validate, and take corrective action on rosters obtained from a personnel system.
- →You will prepare or endorse various types of orders and correspondence.
- →You will research and resolve all travel claim pay and entitlement discrepancies and initiate corrective action when required.
- →You will interview Marines, review source documents, conduct a record audit and prepare unit diaries.
- →You will track and report all mandatory training events for recruits.
- →You will provide technical assistance to Defense Travel System (DTW) officials and travelers for travel orders, vouchers, expenses, receipts, and cancellations.
