What You'll Do
- →If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for a comprehensive suite of Human Resources program areas for the U.S.
- →Attorney's Office, Northern District of Texas.
- →You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant for an organization of administrative/legal professionals and attorneys.
- →Typical work assignments will include: Process a wide range of personnel actions within various functional areas of personnel management for assigned service areas.
- →Respond to applicants, visitors, and/or telephone callers interested in obtaining employment.
- →Process new employees and conducts orientation sessions on such matters as health benefits, life insurance, thrift savings, retirement and military service credit, and deposits/redeposits owed.
- →Review, process and resolve problems/discrepancies relative to personnel actions.
- →Collect information for employees and managers/supervisors on employee benefits, and answer questions regarding entitlements.
- →Assemble background investigation packages.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
- →Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
