About the Role
About the position: This position is located at the Non-appropriated Fund Personnel (NAF) HR Office, Grand Forks AFB, ND. The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance and support to the 319th Force Support Squadron Activities. This is a developmental position leading to a Human Resources Assistant NF-03. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package. What You'll Do
- →THIS IS A DEVELOPMENTAL POSITION LEADING TO THE FULL PERFORMANCE LEVEL IN HUMAN RESOURCES, NF-03.
- →Maintains electronic records, receives and processes requests to fill vacant positions, reviews selections for accuracy, and coordinates with supervisors during the hiring process.
- →Checks for presence of necessary documents, for completion of all necessary items in each document, and for arrangement of necessary documents in proper sequence.
- →Checks items of information for conformance to applicable laws, regulations, etc.
- →Contacts appropriate sources to secure missing data or documents.
- →Provides information to employees regarding benefits, including but not limit to insurance, retirement, 401(k) and awards.
- →Administers workers' and unemployment compensation program.
- →Utilizes information found in commonly used regulations, instructions, or manuals.
- →In-processes new employees and assisting with completion of employment documents.
- →Maintain Official Personnel Folders, position control registers, office files, group insurance files, etc.
- →Computes service computation dates.
- →Inputs personnel data into the automated personnel data systems to process a variety of personnel actions.
- →Performs other related duties as assigned.
- →Full Performance Level (in addition to the above duties): Provides recruitment and placement preparing and forwarding lists of applicants, arranging for interviews, and maintaining applicant supply files.
Requirements

- ✓FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
- ✓You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
